Hi Schoharie Little League Family,

 

I am sure that everyone is aware of the holding pattern that Little Leagues across the country are in as of now.  No one is really sure how this will all play out or how soon we will be able to begin our league activities.  The league will continue to monitor the situation and the recommendations from Little League International as well as our local and state governments.  As of now all league activities are on hold until further notice. The best avenues to receive any updates on league activities continue to be facebook and the league web site at www.schoharielittleleague.com.   Please check in periodically even if you do not receive an email.  

 

We will begin to work on the fields as individuals to prepare for the upcoming season so we are ready as soon as we are able to play.  We will have the uniforms and equipment ready as well.  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact any of the board members.  

 

There are many drills your players can work on at home.  Add gym class to their homeschool curriculum and get ‘em outside.  You can use www.littleleague.org or even YouTube for some drill ideas.  My favorite is just throwing and catching, fundamentals as we call it.
